Research Topics and Areas of Interest

YesterdayTimes.com
Hello Everyone! YesterdayTimes.com is now over one month old and it has been great building the site, conducting research, and overall just letting inspiration and curiosity guide the direction and content. With this blog post, I would like to share some of the thoughts that guide the type of content that is being displayed.

General History

For the most part, this area is concerned with events that may be of interest to a wide audience. Many of the articles in this category are used as a guide for future research and development, but for the most part, they are used on the front page of the website. Topics may include:
  • Anything about American Presidents
  • Military History
  • Famous People
  • Inventions and Notable Innovation
  • Native American Tribes
  • African American History
  • Much more....

Inspiration

One area that has been really surprising as an area of interest has been the books and book reviews. There are tons of great books in the public domain that are just waiting to be re-discovered and shared with the world once again. For example, one the articles on YesterdayTimes.com is this book excerpt from a book called "Men and Manners in America." This is a travel memoir that was written in 1833 by Thomas Hamilton. I have been spending time reading this book and really enjoying the perspectives on American culture from almost two hundred years ago.

Your Help

The point of the blog post is to share some of the topics and areas of research that have been covered in the brief history of YesterdayTimes.com. My hope and request is that you the reader are willing to share any areas of interest you would like to see researched and developed into content for this site. Your input will greatly influence the direction and raise the quality of this site.

In the meantime, thanks for visiting and be sure to enjoy history everywhere in the world!

Jeremy
