Book of the Indians of North America

Comprising a View of their Manners, Customs and Present State

The same publishers have just issued Professor Frost's "Book of the Indians of North America, comprising a View of their Manners, Customs and Present State." It is splendidly embellished with engravings on wood and steel plates, from the drawings of Croome, Darley, Catlin and Prince Maximilian of Wied. The volume is rich in fresh and interesting matters relating to Indian life , interspersed with historial and biographical anecdotes, descriptions of hunting adventures, ice., and the pictures are very spiritedly drawn and well engraved. The book is one of the series of which the "Book of the Navy," and "Book of the Army," compose a part, and is got up in a similar style.
